Mobile PWC winterization · Central Wisconsin

WE WINTERIZE
YOUR JET SKI
IN YOUR DRIVEWAY.

A technician comes to you and flushes every drop of fresh water out of the cooling system before it can freeze and crack the engine - then fogs the cylinders for storage. Plan on roughly an hour.

$299 for the first craft, $199 for each additional one at the same address. No trailering it to a dealership. No waiting weeks to get it back.

The cost of skipping it

Thousands

is what a freeze crack in an exhaust manifold or cylinder head costs to put right - many times the price of preventing it

Your PWC pulls fresh water through the engine to keep it cool. When you shut down, that water stays in the system. Below freezing, it expands. Something cracks - usually the exhaust manifold, the cylinder head, or the water pump housing.

The crack often isn't visible until spring, when you first try to run the engine. By then you are in a queue behind everyone else who just found out the same way, waiting on parts, while the season you were waiting for goes by.

Winterization $299
Freeze crack repair Many times that

Insurers often treat freeze damage as a maintenance failure rather than a covered loss. Worth checking your policy's exclusions before the season, not after.

Every service includes

WHAT YOU GET

Cooling system flush

Every bit of fresh water pushed out of the cooling system and replaced with non-toxic marine antifreeze, so there is nothing left to freeze and split a casting.

Engine fogging

Fogging oil coats the cylinder walls so they don't rust while the craft sits through the winter.

Fuel stabilizer

We treat the fuel so it doesn't break down over the winter, using enough to stabilize a full tank. Top off your gas before service so there is no room for condensation to form.

Battery service

We disconnect the battery and, if you have a tender, connect it so the battery holds charge through storage. Don't have one? A tender we supply and install is the only add-on.

Pre-service condition check

We look the craft over before we start and point out anything that concerns us, in writing. We never add surprise repairs to your bill.

Optional add-ons

+
Battery tender (supplied and installed) +$75/craft

We supply a battery tender and connect it to the battery. Plug it in at your storage spot and it keeps the battery charged all winter. Only needed if you don't already have one.

+
Spark plug replacement +$85/craft

New spark plugs installed during the same visit. 4-stroke models. Parts and labor.

The process

THREE STEPS.
YOU DO ONE.

01

Reserve online

Enter your ZIP, pick how many craft, add any extras, and leave your details. Takes about three minutes, and nothing is charged today.

02

Get it ready

Park the trailer on solid, level ground where you want it. Cover off, keys where the technician can reach them, and top off the fuel tank. That is your whole job.

03

We do the rest

The technician flushes the cooling system, fogs the engine, and fits any add-ons you picked. Plan on roughly an hour, and you are done for the season.

Why customers trust us

Brand-agnostic service

Sea-Doo, Yamaha WaveRunner, Kawasaki Jet Ski and other major brands. We are not a dealer for any of them, so there are no upgrades or parts we are trying to move.

Non-toxic antifreeze only

We use non-toxic propylene glycol - the same RV and marine antifreeze rated for potable water systems. Never automotive ethylene glycol. Because flushing discharges antifreeze, indoor service on a stand needs a floor drain.

We come to the craft

Your watercraft never leaves your property. No trailering it to a dealership, no drop-off window, no waiting weeks to get it back at the busiest time of the year.

No up-sells at the door

You chose your add-ons when you booked. We don't discover "additional work" on-site. If we notice something concerning, we document it and tell you. That's the end of it.

Common questions

QUESTIONS

How much does winterization cost?

$299 for the first craft and $199 for each additional craft at the same address. Fuel stabilizer and battery service are included. The only add-ons are a battery tender we supply and install ($75 per craft) and spark plug replacement ($85 per craft). No travel fee inside our service area. Full answer →

What happens if I skip winterization?

Fresh water left in the cooling system freezes, expands, and cracks whatever is holding it - usually the exhaust manifold or a cylinder head. It is a far more expensive repair than the winterization, and you usually don't discover it until you try to start the craft in spring. Full answer →

Do you come to my house?

Yes. We service the craft where it already sits - your driveway, garage, or storage location. You don't trailer it anywhere. It does need to be on a trailer or a stand on solid, level ground. Full answer →

What do I need to do before you arrive?

Position the trailer where you want it on solid, level ground, take the cover off, leave the keys accessible, and top off the fuel tank. That's the whole list. A full tank keeps condensation out of your fuel over winter, and our technicians make several stops a day, so having it ready keeps everyone on schedule. Full answer →

Can you pull my craft out of the water?

No. We can't trailer your craft or move a loaded trailer - it isn't safe for our technicians and we're not equipped for it. The craft has to already be on a trailer or stand, on solid and level ground, before we arrive. Full answer →

How long does it take?

Plan on roughly an hour for a visit. That covers the winterization itself plus paperwork, cleanup, and answering your questions. Additional craft at the same address add a little time each. Full answer →

What brands do you service?

Sea-Doo, Yamaha WaveRunner, Kawasaki Jet Ski, and other major brands. We're brand-agnostic and not affiliated with any manufacturer, so we have nothing to up-sell you. Full answer →

When should I book?

Now. Pre-registration is free and holds your place. We email everyone scheduling options at the same time around mid-summer, and preferred dates go first-come, first-served, so watch for that email. Full answer →

Is the antifreeze safe?

We use non-toxic propylene glycol - the same RV and marine antifreeze used in potable water systems. We never use automotive ethylene glycol. Note that flushing discharges antifreeze, so indoor service on a stand needs a floor drain. Full answer →

Do I need to pay anything today?

No. Pre-registration just holds your place. You get a detailed quote and scheduling options when routes open, and a discount if you choose to pre-pay once your appointment is confirmed. Multiple craft are discounted automatically. Full answer →
