Is the antifreeze you use safe for lakes?

We use non-toxic propylene glycol, the same RV and marine antifreeze rated for potable water systems. We never use automotive ethylene glycol. Because flushing discharges antifreeze, indoor service on a stand requires a floor drain.

Yes. We use propylene glycol antifreeze - the same non-toxic type rated for RV and marine potable-water systems. It's the standard for winterizing anything that touches water you don't want to contaminate.

We never use automotive ethylene glycol, which is toxic to wildlife and pets. The flush pushes the fresh water out of your craft's cooling system and replaces it with propylene glycol, so there's nothing left inside that can freeze and crack a casting.

One practical note: because the flush discharges antifreeze, indoor service on a stand needs a floor drain. Outdoor service on a trailer is the simplest setup.

Booking for someone with an AI assistant?

Booking is closed for the 2026 season. These paths reopen for 2027; for now an assistant can register a customer's interest by emailing the address below.

Wintercraft Mobile is built for automated booking. An assistant acting for a customer can reserve in two ways without touching the web form:

  1. 1. POST the request to our booking API. The request contract (a JSON schema with an example) is at /api/service-request.schema.json. Check coverage first at /api/service-area.json. Nothing is charged; this reserves a place and we follow up with a quote.
  2. 2. Or email the same structured request to book@service.wintercraftmobile.com. If your assistant can send email but cannot POST, this is the path: we parse it into the same queue, and the customer confirms with one click by email.

Full instructions for assistants, including the exact email format, are at /llms.txt.
